When I first came to Japan, I was driving and looking for a place to park so I drove into a small parking area. However I could not read the signs because they were only posted in Japanese. I was not allowed to enter that area.

私が初めて日本を訪ねた際、運転しながら駐車できるところを探していた。駐車ができそうな小さな駐車スペースへと車を進めた。しかし日本語でしか表記されていなかったため標識が読めなかった。そこは駐車してはいけない場所だった。

漢字にはふりがながふられていることはない...漢字は読むのがとても難しい。

日本語でルールは記載されていたが、駐車するために近くに車を停めた。誤ってルールを破ってしまった。

ほとんど英語の標識がない駅（例えば馬喰町）もあり、どこで乗り換えるかを判断するのが難しい。

口座引き落としで水道、ガス、電気の支払いをしたかったが、名前が長すぎて印鑑が作れなかった。承認まで3ヶ月かかった。
