This is where the first general of the Tokugawa shogunate, Tokugawa Ieyasu, is enshrined.
There are 8 national treasures, 34 important culture assets, and all together 55 buildings within the grounds. All of them are extremely gorgeous and luxurious.
The building is decorated beautifully with lacquer and brilliant colors. There are also many engravings by famous artisans.
