河道屋は江戸時代から続くそば屋の老舗です。

芳香炉(Hokoro)と名づけられた特製の鍋は、一つ一つ厳選した京都ならではの食材を煮立て、最後にそば、またはうどんを入れます。

準備に時間がかかるので余裕をもって来店することをおすすめします。数奇屋造りの店内で、美しい庭を眺めながらの食事がとても心地よいです。芳香炉(Hokoro)は2名から注文が可能です。

Kawamichiya is a long-established buckwheat noodle restaurant which continues from the Edo period.
The pans of special make named the Hokoro boil up the foods unique to Kyoto selected carefully one by one, and, finally soba-noodle or udon-noodle are put in it.
Since preparation takes a lot time, we recommend you to come well before.
A meal while looking at the beautiful yard on the inside of sukiya style of building is very cozy.
An order for the Hokoro can be placed from for two persons.
