そこでの生活はこれまで味わったことのないもので大変かけがえのない経験となった。
その島を離れる時、一緒に働いていたスタッフ、オーナーの家族やその島で仲良くなった友達が見送りに来てくれた。
船が島を離れるにつれて自然と涙が溢れ出してきた。それは楽しくて流れた嬉し涙だったのか。見送ってもらった喜びだったのか。島を離れることの悲しい涙だったのか。みんなと別れる寂しい涙だったのか。
いろいろな感情が混ざった涙だったのだが私にとって最高の思い出であることは間違いない。

The life there was an experience that I cannot replace with anything else and have not experienced.
When I left the island, staff with whom I worked, family of the owner and friends I became close
came to see me off. As the ship was leaving the island, tears appeared in my eyes without hesitation.
I wonder if it was the tears shed as I was having a good time, happy tears as people saw me off, sad tears as I was leaving the island or lonely tears as I was leaving them?
It must be the tears by mixed feelings.
I am sure that it must be the best memory for me.
