月の裏側

月は地球に対していつも同じ面を向けているのはご存じでしょうか？月が地球の周りを1周する間に、地球自体も1回自転してしまうので、月の裏側は地球から見ることはできないのです。

ではその裏側はというと、表側よりも多数のクレーターに覆われた、少し衝撃的な光景が広がっています。。月の表と裏の違いの理由は諸説あるようで、様々な研究機関が研究している難しいテーマなのだそうです。

また、より近接した「月の裏側」の動画をNASAが公開しています。

引き続き、検討していきたいと思います。

The Back Side of The Moon

Did you know the moon always face the same side to the earth? Since the earth itself rotates while the moon goes around it, it is impossible for us to see the back side of the moon from our planet.

So, what does it looks like? A little surprising landscape can be seen there, which is covered with a greater amount of craters than the front. There are some theories of the difference between the both sides, and it is a difficult theme where a lot of research is being conducted.

Also, a deeper movie showing "The back of the moon" is being shown by NASA.
