5. To mark the location (store it in the BackTrack’s memory under your selected Location icon), HOLD the MARK button until the distance indication changes
to “0”. It does not matter which direction you face when marking the location (as a stored GPS location is just a point or “dot”). When you move away from that location, an arrow points the way back to the location (general direction relative to your current position), and the display shows your distance from the location. You may now turn the BackTrack’s power off by HOLDing down the MODE/ Power button, or proceed to another location you want to mark.

5.位置をマークする(選択したLocationアイコンで示された場所をBackTrackのメモリに保存する)には、距離表示が"o"になるまでMARKボタンを長押しします。その時、どの方角を向いていても構いません(GPSの位置情報は"点"で記録されるため)。その場所から移動すると、矢印が記録した地点から伸びてきて(あなたの現在地への、およその方向を示します)記録した地点からの距離を表示します。MODE/Powerボタンを長押しして、BackTrackの電源を切っても構いませんし、続けて他の場所の登録を行うこともできます。
