ただし普通煎茶に比べると香りは弱めです。お湯の温度・抽出時間をあまり気にせずに手軽に入れられます。
深蒸し茶にはたくさんのお茶の粒子が含まれ、時間が経つとお湯のみの底に沈殿します。 この粒子が入れたてのお茶の水色を濃い深緑色にしていますが、分析してみると、

βカロテン(抗酸化作用)
ビタミンE(血行促進作用や免疫機能改善効果など)
クロロフィル類(腸内環境改善)
など、健康に良い成分がたっぷり含まれていることが判りました。
