鍋島焼は、17~19世紀に鍋島藩直営の窯で製造された高級磁器である。有田・伊万里は日本の磁器の代表的な産地として知られるが、その中でも大川内山にあった藩直営の窯では高級品を焼造し、鍋島焼と呼ばれた

Nabeshima-yaki is an high-quality porcelain made inside the kiln directly managed by the Nabeshima Domain in 17 to 19 centuries. Arita and Imari are know as one of the representative producing areas of Japanese porcelain. In these areas, especially kilns directly managed by the domain in Okawa Chiyama were used to produce high-quality porcelain, called Nabeshima-yaki.

Satsuma-yaki was first started in 1598.

The design of surface naturally made while being burned inside the kiln expresses the scenery such as snow mountain and waves.

Potter who puts unique pattern and sculpture on traditional Satuma-yakis, and pursues useful Satsuma-yakis.

Indigo blue-colored design was put, and Mr./Ms. ○ praised that "this is the best-quality product that shines in white among other Japanese porcelains made between 1750-1830."
