Japanese Ad Company Mediba To Open Singapore Office

Japan’s Mediba Inc., an advertising unit owned by KDDI, announced today that it would be establishing an office in Singapore, in an effort to support its expanding business serving the rapidly growing Asian smartphone market.

The company said in its release that it is considering branches in Korea, China, Indonesia, and India as well. This of course, continues in a trend of Japanese internet companies tempted to look abroad by the allure of the smartphone market outside the nation’s borders.
