History of Nonius
As "manufacturing by compatible system" had been developed and used commonly, each type of measuring technology was developed and the precise measuring equipment was manufactured.
Although the idea originated in Europe, many were manufactured and used in the States. The first one was Norius. Brown was born in Rhode Island, and had studied machine technology in the factory since he was young.
