A plural noun can be followed by "another"? "Any OTHER a plural noun" is common, though.

Now with that said, I see what you were trying to get at.

I think your question was: is [ANY + countable noun plural] grammatically correct. It is a legitimate question, and if you Google search the matter, there seems to be some debate around the issue. I always understood that any can be followed by either a singular or plural noun. However, I will look for some authoritative literature on this.

This is not the most scientific answer, but here are some examples where the phrase "any other items" has been used on the website for Stanford University and FDA. For now, if it good enough for an Ivy League university and the governement to use it, I am thinking it is acceptable.

Thank you for taking the time to explain and show me examples. :) After commenting on it, I guessed you meant to say "any other items" or "any items." I just wanted to make sure if "a plural noun can be followed by "another."
Yes, a single noun can also be followed by "other" if the noun is an uncountable one. (i.g. any other information or advice)
But I'm not a grammar master. Maybe I miss some points. Also, I understand some sentences could sound weird even if they are grammatically correct.
