「マヨテラス」の設計思想を明らかに
6月末に開業し、多くの子供たちの人気を集めるキューピーの見学施設(オープンキッチン)マヨテラスで、8月25日、プレスツアーが実施された。施設見学とともに基本設計から施工まで2年半にわたるプロジェクトについて、設計・デザイン・施工を手掛けた乃村工藝社の担当デザイナーらが語った。
マヨテラスは1951年に建造されたキューピーの仙川工場を見学用施設に建て替えたもの。マヨネーズにまつわるさまざまな情報やトピックを体感しながら楽しく学べる施設。
Making idea of designing of Mayo Terrace clear
On August 25th, press tour was carried out at Mayo Terrace that is a opened kitchen of Kewpie, which is popular among many children and opened at the end of June.
The designer who was in charge of Nomura Kogei who worked on design and construction talked about the project which took 2.5 years from the basic designing to construction while they visited and observed the building.
Mayo Terrace is a building that was reconstructed for observing Senkawa Factory of Kewpie, which was constructed in 1951. It is a building where we can learn pleasantly while experimenting a variety of information and topics in respect with mayonnaise.
