In the springtime, the lush grounds at the castle’s base and snowcapped peaks in the distance make for a striking scene. With its glossy black floors and thick pillars, the castle is as dramatic inside as it is out (the castle’s elegant pitch-black walls and hilltop perch earned it the nickname crow castle.)

The exhibits of historical artifacts, weapons, and armor from the samurai era convey the feeling of a time immortalized in Kurosawa films and samurai dramas.

Surrounded by the thick, cool castle walls, climbing the steep stairways designed to hinder attackers, it is easy to imagine being in an era when buildings were made to ward off armies rather than the cold.

تتهيأ القلعة فى فصل الربيع أخذةً منظراً ملفتاً للإنتباه ، حيث أرضها الخصبة و قممها المكسوة بالثلج . القلعة مثيرة فى الداخل كما هى فى الخارج ، فأدوارها تلمع باللون الأسود ، و جدرانها سميكة ، و لهذا سميت بالقلعة " الغراب " بسبب فخامة جدرانها السوداء و وجتها المقامة على تل . يتم تصوير التحف التاريخية الموجودة بها ، و الأسلحة ، و الدروع المستخدمة فى حقبة " الساموراى " فى أفلام " كورسوا " و مسلسلات " الساموراى ". صُممت جدران القلعة بهذا السُمك حتى تمنع أى معتد عليها ، فليس من السهل أن يتم تسلق السلالم الموصلة لها ، و لك أن تتخيل شكل تلك الحقبة عندما تُبنى المنازل حتى تصد الأعداء بدلاً من حمايتهم من البرد.
