ข้อ 2 ให้คณะกรรมการตาม ข้อ 1 มีอำนาจหน้าที่ ดังต่อไปนี้
1.เสนอแนะนโยบาย แผนการบริหารและมาตรการในการทำภารกิจต่อคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ
2.กำกับดูแลและติดตามผลการดำเนินงานของรัฐวิสาหกิจ เพื่อให้การบริหารงานของรัฐวิสาหกิจเป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และเกิดประสิทธิผลสูงสุด
3.บูรณาการการดำเนินการของรัฐวิสาหกิจให้มีความเป็นเอกภาพ
4.เสนอแนะแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาด้านต่างๆ ของรัฐวิสาหกิจทั้งในด้านการบริหาร การดำเนินงาน และด้านการเงินต่อคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ
5.ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้ภาคเอกชนเข้าร่วมลงทุนในกิจการของรัฐ
6.แต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการ และคณะทำงานเพื่อช่วยเหลือการปฏิบัติงานได้ตามความจำเป็น
(2) Let the committee in (1) has authorities specified hereby:
1. Suggesting policies, executive plans and measures for doing missions to the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)
2. Regulating and following operational results of state enterprises, for their administration to be efficient and generate the most effectiveness.
3. Integrating state enterprises' operations to unity.
4. Suggesting guidelines for solving problems in various aspects of state enterprises, be it executive, operational, or financial, to the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)
5. Encouraging and supporting private sectors to engage in investments with state's enterprises.
6. Appointing sub-committees and task-forces to assist in its operations as necessary.
