One person’s advice inspired this movement.
He taught me more in 45 minutes than anyone had in 18 years. He explained to me that regardless of a job title or how someone dresses, we are all human. Being afraid to engage with someone based on his or her title or appearance is a missed opportunity.

And just as this advice helped me reach the White House, it should be applied in engaging one of the three billion people living in poverty on planet earth today.

If we can suspend judgment and admit how little most of us really know about poverty, we can start asking the pivotal questions needed to be real partners in addressing this crisis.

इस क्षण को लिखने के लिये किसी वयक्ति के उपदेश ने मुझे उत्साहित किया है।
सिर्फ ४५ मिनटों में ऊनहोने मुझे वो सब कुछ सिखा दिया जो कोई अन्य आदमी १८ सालों में सीखता है।
ऊनहोने सिखाया कि किसी के ओहदे या कपङों से किसी की योगयता नहीं आंकी जाती। हम सब प्राणी हैं, हम भयवश कई बार ओहदे तथा कपङों के पीछे कई खास अवसर गवां देते हैं।। ठीक यही उपदेश मुझे वाइट हाउस जाते समय काम आया।
यह सब जानते हैं कि धरती पर ३ खरब से जयादा लोग गरीबी की रेखा के नीचे रहते हैं, यदि हम इस फैसले को
मानते हैं कि हमसे बहुत कम जन इस बारे में असली जानकारी रखते हैं तो इस प्रकार के संकट के समय से निकलने के लिए हमें आपस मे निर्णायक सवाल पूछने होगें।
