青森県青森市では毎年8月初旬に「ねぶた祭り」が開催され、大勢の市民が掛け声とともに、武者等を模った人型や武者絵の描かれた扇型の山車燈籠を引いて街を練り歩きます。写真はその山車燈籠の一例です。
皆さんも是非体験してみてはいかがですか？

Every year in early August, Aomori City in Aomori prefecture holds "Nebuta Festival" with large crowds of citizens yelling with enthusiasm as the pull large lantern floats decorated with samurai figures and parade around the town. The picture is of one the lantern floats.
Would anyone else like to experience this festival?
