This design concept aims for functional beauty and universality, but also includes the national identity of Asia, Japan, and Kyushu.

That's why it combines high technology with materials that were in use since a long time ago and artisan's craft to create an unique finish.

The characteristic point on the outside is definitely the vertical light. The curved, cubic surface has bulging, cute eyes.

(It's the first time such a shape was used in a train's design.)

Inside of the train is a carefully designed space as well.
