日本では子供から大人まで知っている有名なおとぎ話です。
さて、冒頭に紹介した「岡山市が桃太郎市に改名」の件ですが･･･
市長は鬼に操られていたのだそうです。
ユーモアあふれる街のPR作戦のひとつでした
特別運行のクリスマス電車の名前を桃太郎にかけず「KURO（くろ）」としたのも、歴史ある岡山城（別名：烏城）の黒く美しい外観に敬意を表して名付けたさりげないユーモアなのかもしれません。

It is a popular fairy tale known by children and adults within Japan.
So, beginning with introducing the matter on "changing the name of Okayama city to Momotaro city"...
The mayor seems to have been manipulated by a demon.
It was one of the PR strategy for a city full of humor.
It was also done in the special Christmas train service without using the name Momotaro but using "KURO" and it might be a casual humor to name it in honor of the beautiful black appearance of the historical Okayama Castle (Alias : Karasu-jo).
