日本では子供から大人まで知っている有名なおとぎ話です。
さて、冒頭に紹介した「岡山市が桃太郎市に改名」の件ですが・・・


市長は鬼に操られていたのだそうです。
ユーモアあふれる街のPR作戦のひとつでした
特別運行のクリスマス電車の名前を桃太郎にかけず「KURO(くろ)」としたのも、歴史ある岡山城(別名:烏城)の黒く美しい外観に敬意を表して名付けたさりげないユーモアなのかもしれません。

Well then, about the said "Okayama Fair was renamed as Momotarou Fair" mentioned in the beginning...

The mayor was possessed by a spirit, it seems.
That was some sort of PR tactics along the lines of humor
the same goes for the special Christmas service train that didn't get called Momotarou but "KURO"(black), named casually as homage to the beautiful and black facade of the historical Okayama Castle (also known as Crow Castle)
perhaps it's just their sense of humor.
