We can use Disney as a way to see into things more deeply and, for example, excite greater curiosity in learning more about the nature and people of Africa. Once a child's interest is piqued by the super-sweet view of things which Disney markets, we can bring out other aspects that tell other stories and give multiple perspectives on things. This will give children the opportunity to think beyond the Mickey Mouse view of life.

いったん、子どもの興味がディズニーがつくりだすとてもかわいらしい物事の見方によって、頂点に達すると、新しい物語をうみだす物事の別の側面をもちだしたり、多様な視点をあたえることができる。以上のことは、人生をミッキーマウスのように見る見方をこえて、物事を考える機会をあたえるものである。
