We know Travers was not invited to the premiere. She invited herself. She did not care for the movie. She went to Walt afterward and said we have some work to do and he told her, "That ship has sailed." We also know that she cried during the movie. People who knew her have said that those tears would not be the result of her hate of the movie being so great. What if the reason she cried was not about the movie at all. What if it was the end of a cathartic experience? Coming to terms with her life as a little girl and her father?

Nós sabemos que Travers não foi convidada para a estréia. Ela se convidou e não ligava pro filme. Depois ela foi ao Walt e disse que nós temos algum trabalho pra fazer, e ele a disse, "Esse navio já saiu." Nós também sabemos que e la chorou durante o filme. As pessoas que a conheciam disseram que aquelas lágrimas não eram o resultado do seu ódio pelo filme ser tão bom. E se a razão dela ter chorado não foi sobre o filme.
