一子 should be a name instead of "a child". 内心软弱 can be "inferiority". Also, for the third sentence I think it can be "so it is fear". Moreover, the fourth sentence should be "looking at".

Inferiority is much worse than being weak. From the content, no need to exaggerate the feeling.
