頭の上の部分の髪は立たせ、首の生え際にはカミソリでギザギザのそり込みを入れて、逆さ富士を表現し、およそ３０分ほどで仕上がりました。
「富士山刈り」は組合に加盟している理容店で、ヘアスタイルの１つとして取り入れていくということです。
県理容生活衛生同業組合の高尾幸夫さんは「横の部分を富士山の形に刈り込むところに工夫しました」と話していました。

The hair style took about 30 minutes to complete. The top part is spiked up, and a zigzag shape is shaved on the neck hairline to express Mt Fuji reflected upside down on the water. The "Mt Fuji Cut" is to be adopted as a new menu at barbers in the guild.
Mr Yukio Takao, a member of the Prefectural Barber Living Hygeine Guild, said, "I carefully invented the shape of Mt Fuji on the side of the head."
