アルゼンチン・ブエノスアイレスで開催された国際オリンピック委員会（IOC）総会で、2020年のオリンピック・パラリンピック開催を東京に導いた、招致メンバーが9月10日に帰国し、都庁前広場で約6000人の観衆の前で報告会を開催した。

「みなさんの声援がブエノスアイレスに届きました」と猪瀬直樹東京都知事が挨拶。報告会終了後には都庁内で記者会見が行なわれた。招致委員会評議会議長・副会長を務めた森喜朗元首相が、刻一刻と変わる票読みのようすなど招致メンバーの現地での活動を明らかにした。

The members of bidding committee who steered the Tokyo to be the hosing city of the 2020 summer Olympic game during the IOC general meeting held at Buenos Aires in Argentine returned to Japan on September 10 and held the debrief session in front of about 6000 audiences at the Tokyo metropolitan government office plaza.
