This is how to set the item price for listing at eBay when you find an item sold at JPY880.00 in a Japanese website which I have requested to look for.

The first step is to calculate the marked up price in Japanese yen using the fixed mark up figure of 1.8, therefore the marked up price becomes JPY880.00 x 1.8=JPY1,589.00

Then, the foreign exchange rate I use at this moment is USD1.00 to JY98.00, therefore, the converted price of the item can be calculated as JPY1,589.00/JPY90.00=USD17.60.
