このコンテストでは、応募者の自慢のキャラ弁を競います。
キャラ弁とは、弁当の中身を漫画、アニメ、芸能人等のキャラクターあるいは自動車などのメカ、風景などに模したもののことをいいます。
日本では、お母さんが子供を喜ばせたり、嫌いなものを自主的に食べさせるためにキャラ弁を作り始めました。
現在、日本ではキャラ弁がとても流行っています。

This contest is about competing with their proudest Kyara bento (character lunch) ever made.
In here, the participants' Kyara bento are said to look like the characters from Manga (comics), Animé (cartoons), artists or even car mechanics and imitation of natural sceneries.
In Japan, mothers give joy to their children by making Kyara bento for them. It started as being made to make children eat what they dislike on their own.
Now, they are becoming very fashionable.
