Sea of Sorrows, written by Ree Soesbee, will be the third and final novel to bridge the time between the original game series and Guild Wars 2. The plot will focus on Zhaitan's awakening and the effects it has on Tyria, including the flooding of Lion's Arch.[1] It will begin with the sinking of Lion's Arch while the main character is on a ship heading to Arah, and follows the main character as he meets other races and helps rebuild Lion's Arch for all races.[2] The book will contain clues to help you find the location of twelve plaques honoring the history of Lion's Arch and it's founder Cobiah Marriner. You will earn five skill points for completing the scavenger hunt

Ree Soesbee著作の「Sea of Sorrows」は、元祖のゲームシリーズとGuild Wars 2の時代の掛け橋となる、3作目かつ最後の小説です。筋書きとしては、Zhaitanの覚醒とそれに伴うTyriaheへの影響に焦点があてられており、Lion's Archでの洪水も含まれています。(1)メインキャラクターのArahへの船旅の最中に発生する、Lion's Archの浸水に始まり、他の種族と出会い、全種族のためLion's Archの再建に助力するメインキャラクターを主軸に展開されます。(2)本からは、Lion's Archの歴史や設立者のCobiah Marrinerに敬意を表する12の石板の位置について、手がかりを得られます。腐食動物のハントをマスターする5つのスキルも得られます。
