日本PCO協会は5月24日、ホテル日航東京で年次総会、特別セミナーおよび会員交流会を開催。約50社・団体から90人以上が出席した。
総会に先がけて、代表幹事の近浪弘武氏（日本コンベンションサービス(株)代表取締役社長）が挨拶。60団体から90団体への会員拡大、韓国・シンガポールの業界団体と締結したグローバル化、仙台で開催したセミナーをはじめとする人材育成の充実と2012年度の成果を振り返った。

適切ではないと思われる単語は次のような単語です。交流会をpartyとしていますが、単なるパーティと取られる恐れがあります。多分an exchange partyやan exchange meeting方が自然だと思います。総会の挨拶などは冒頭に行われるためa opening speechと呼ばれるのが普通です。プロジェクトなどを開始する際に最初に行われるミーティングをkick off meetingと呼ぶことも普通です。人材育成はenhenced educations（質が向上した教育）ではなく、human resources caltivationやhuman resources developmentが適切だと思われます。
