「ご自分で修理したくなくて、わざわざ50ドル返金して欲しいのですか。」部分は、文脈から「そちらで修理してくだされば、50ドル返金するというのはいかがですか？」だと思います。
「輸送は禁物で、私はしません。」部分も、輸送中に壊れたということが予想されます、ということだと考えられます。
