かつて類稀なる斬れ味をもって天皇への奉納を許された日本刀を作った刀匠がいた。
その刀匠の技術と伝統は、彼の名と共に、現代の子孫へと受け継がれている。

四郎國光という名を受け継いだのは、偶然にも先代四郎國光が亡くなり、名前がちょうど空いたからだ

「お前が名乗れ」と周りに言われたので、私が四郎國光を名乗ることになった。
名前を受け継ぐことは私にとってこの上ない重圧だ。

進んで引き継ぎたいとは今でも思っていない。名前を引き継いだことは、ずっと私に重圧を与えている

Even now, I don't think I want to take over the name. Inherited its name has been put strong pressure to me.
