1月31日に私はB Dash Venturesの新年会に参加したのだが、そこでちょっとしたサプライズがあった。フジテレビジョン常務取締役で、同時にフジ・スタートアップ・ベンチャーズ代表取締役社長の亀山千広氏が、設立したばかりのファンドについて壇上で話をしていたからだ。（「踊る大捜査線」のプロデューサーなどで著名な人物だったものだから、ミーハー心も手伝ってドキドキしてしまった）。
