振り棒
ハンドルもブレーキもない曳山を振り棒の熟練の技で安全かつ円骨に進むことができる。四人一組で曳山を任され、音頭取りとの連携で曳山を安全に運行させる。

踊り
曳山とともに、披露される踊りは祭にとって大切である。踊りは、演芸として披露される踊りと、子供たちや多くの人たちが一緒に踊る輪踊りにわかれる。演芸として披露される踊りは「秋田音頭」がある。

Furibou(swiple)
Hikiyama which has no steering wheel and no brakes can go ahead smoothly through the expertise of Furibou. They take over Hikiyama with one set of four people and let Hikiyama travel safely by cooperation with Ondotori.

Dance
The dance which is shown with Hikiyama is important for the festival. The dance is divided into a dance shown as an entertainment and a ring dance in which children and many people dance together. The dances shown as an entertainment has "Akita Ondo".
