このコンテストに日本から参加しているのが『White Label Space』。月面ローバー（探査車）を日本の民間組織において独自に開発しているチームだ。

One of participating companies in this competition is a Japanese company named White Label Space. This private company independently develops Moon rovers (probes) in Japan.
Aiming to pursue the development for downsizing rovers, White Label Space (WLSJ) carried out fundraising campaign on the Campfire site, in order to raise the production cost for its prototype and a part of experiment costs.
They set their goal at ¥2,000,000 yen, and successfully gathered ¥2,301,520 by December 4, 2012.
