Crowdfunding in Japan: French Artist JR, a photographer capturing the most attention in the world, holds his art project “Inside Out” in Japan
“Inside Out” is an international participatory art project in which each individual’s existence is turned to an art work. Participants take a black and white portrait picture by themselves to send the image to the JR’s dedicated homepage. Each photo uploaded to the site as data is made into a big poster and returned to participants.
