Human sleep is widely divided into two, REM sleep which is when sleep is shallow and non-REM sleep when sleep is deep. When sleeping, at first, a deep sleep called non-REM sleep manifests, then transitions to a shallow sleep called REM sleep. People are said to repeat this cycle in a period of about 90 minutes in one night.

'Sleep Meister' rings only when sleep is shallow (called non-REM sleep). It is an alarm clock App that provides pleasant awakening.
