静岡市は、都市ビジョン10の政策のなかで「戦略的なMICEの推進」を掲げており、交流会の会場では食以外にも、シティプロモーションの柱となっているプラモデルメーカーのタミヤや、今年9月にリニューアルオープンし、来年1月には「第24回国連軍縮会議 in 静岡」の開催地となる日本平ホテルなどが展示コーナーを設け、市の国際的な誘致力もPRした。
