A病院は、フランス有数の総合大学と評価されているB大学の医学部附属病院であり、教育・研究に力を入れている。
脳神経外科科長のC教授はフランス脳神経外科のトップリーダーの一人であり、日本からの留学生受け入れの経験もある。また、後頭蓋窩手術や機能的脳神経外科手術の件数が多いため、現在当科で行なっている診療に直結する知識を得られると考えた。
当科のD教授と親交があるため、今回ご紹介いただき、留学受け入れの内諾をいただいた。

A hospital is attached to B university, a university recognized as one of the leading uniersities in France, and gives high priority to training and research.
Professor C, A hospital's Neurosurgery Director, is one of the leading neurosurgeons in France, who has also accepted some exchange students from Japan. Besides, in the hospital many surgeries concerning the posterior cranial fossa and functional neurosurgery are performed. So, I thought our students are able to have access to the knowledge directly linked to the medical care in our hospital we practice now.
With an introduction from professor C, who is acquainted with Professor D of our hospital, we got an informal consent to the acceptance of our students.
