彼のエッセイやインタビュー、本人から頂いた手紙などから作品を考察する。最後に私の解釈で、彼の絵の次なる変化と進化についても予測する。

　山本タカトは1960年（昭和35）生まれの現在も活躍しているイラストレーターである。自らの絵を「平成耽美主義様式」と称し、耽美的でエロティック、グロテスクな作品を描く。また、その画風から「平成の浮世絵師」と評される。
私が本稿で山本タカトの作品を取り上げる理由は、彼についてまとめられた研究文献や、作品について詳しく言及された資料が無いためである。

Consider the work such as a letter I received from essays and interviews, from this person. In my interpretation, I also predicted about the next change and evolution of his paintings.

Takato Yamamoto who was born 1960 (Showa 35) is still an active illustrator. A picture of himself is referred to as the "Heisei style aestheticism", and draw erotic and grotesque works aesthetically. In addition, the style of painting is described as "ukiyo-e of the Heisei Era."
The reason I picked up a piece of Takato Yamamoto in this manuscript, is because there is no material that has been mentioned in detail and research literature, regarding the work that he has put together.
