・今までは自分で行きたい環境を選んできた。でも今回は違う。北海道が私を呼んだ。北海道はただの日本の一部に過ぎない。だが私にとっては北海道は生き物の様に感じる。声は聞こえないけれど、私はきっとあの大地から呼ばれている。

・大学へ入学した時も、私のことを知っている人がいないから気持ちが楽だった。

- Up until now, I have chosen places that I wanted to go myself. However, this time is different. Hokkaido called out to me. Hokkaido is no more than one part of Japan. However, for me, I feel like Hokkaido is a living thing. I cannot hear its voice, but I am almost certainly being called out to by that land.

- When I entered university as well, I felt at ease because there was nobody who knew me.
