私は受験勉強をするために、夏休みは地元の花火大会に行っただけで、それ以外にまったくあそびにいかなかったのをよく覚えている。私は遊ぶことに突然興味がなくなり、勉強することが一番楽しかった。さらに真剣に勉強すれば問題は解けるようになるという事が分かった。問題が理解して高得点を取ることに快感を覚えて、パーフェクトをとることに対して貪欲になった。

I remember that I was focusing on preparing for a college entrance examination so much that I did not go out to play during summer break except when I went out to see local fireworks festival. I lost interest in playing and to me styding was the most enjoyable activity. I learned that the more serious I study, the more problems I could solve. I started feeling good about understanding problems and getting high scores, and became hungy toward getting perfect scores at tests.
