English

The sewer in each individual house totally leads to the Hasuike.
When washing something in the upriver homes, it spontaneously flows to the downriver homes. Basically, carps eat all of leftover meals so debris does not flow to the river downstream.
If something like toxins were drained in the river upstream, all of carps in the river downstream would die off.
This water system is built on the idea that people living in the area have a trustful relationship and such a terrible event could not happen.
