私たちはリクシャーに乗ってジグネシュの働く工場へ向かった。ジグネシュの家からリクシャーで５分ほどの場所にそれはある。５階建ての建物の２階に上がり扉を開けると、そこには大きな作業場が広がっていた。部屋には10数台の研磨機材が並べられており、２、３人がそれを囲み作業している。レコード盤より少し大きい黒い円形の金属盤が高速に回る中、作業員はダイアモンドを専用の機材にはめて、削る角度を下にして静かにそれを押し付ける。

A quiet diamond factory and black record boards
