長男がもし大学に進んだ場合、卒業は20年後。その頃には、日本の大学を出たところでそれほど意味を成さない時代になっていると思う。では、20年後に役立つ進路は何なのかは僕も分からないし、おそらく誰もわからない。しかし、どんな環境下でも生きていく力を身につけることは可能だ。僕の予感は当たる気がする。

If my eldest son decides to go to university, it`ll be twenty years passed when he graduated. I think Japanese university graduate wouldn`t mean much by then. I`m not sure what`ll be the best course to take twenty years later, and probably no one is sure either. However, it is possible to learn the skill to survive under any circumstance. I have a feeling that my guess would be right.
