トークセッションの終盤には、福岡市市長高島宗一郎氏による福岡市のこれからの像を描いた「スタートアップ都市・ふくおか」の話が行われた。この事業には孫泰蔵氏や、小笠原 治氏も携わっており、市長のトークの後は正式に記者会見の場が設けられ、福岡からアジア、世界へ飛び出すスタートアップを生み出すための事業構想が語られた。
