彼は親子に挨拶もせず、逃げるように屋敷を飛び出した。

ブブーはぶぅぶぅと泣きながら、走って村へ逃げ帰った。
彼が村に戻ると、不思議なことに、皆同じ様に丸々と太っていた。
そして同じ様にぶぅぶぅと泣いていた。

「幸せになれたと思っていたのに何でこんなに悲しいんだろう」

その晩、ブブーと皆は一晩中、ぶぅぶぅと泣き続けた。

ブブーは再び皆と暮らす事にした。
豪華なご飯やパーティは村にはないが、皆と一緒に暮らす方が楽しいと思えたからだ。

丸々とした体はそのままだったが、皆と幸せに暮らしたとさ。

English

He dashed out from the big house without saying good-bye to a mother and a daughter.

Buboo cried and cried, and returned to his old village.
When he arrived there, he noticed everyone in the village was fat.
And, they all cried like him.

"Why I am feeling so sad while I once felt so happy."

Buboo and his villagers all cried all night long.

Buboo decided to live with his villagers again.
He thought it would be fun with them even if he can't have delicious meals and fun parties.

His body was still fat, but he spent happy days with his friends after that
