伊東氏は以前にもイタリアで、伝統色の強い日本を主題とした作品を集めた展示を行っている。
フィレンツェではストロッツィ宮殿、ヴェッキオ宮殿、ヴィラ・ヴォーゲル、またパレルモなどでも展覧会を開催している。
本サイトは、フィレンツェで開催された日本文化の祭典 " 第13回 NiMi Festival " の写真展でご本人にお会いすることができた。「江戸遊戯（江戸からの逃避）」と題された本展では、江戸（現在の東京）の遊女が住む遊郭に幼い頃に売られてきた三人の娘をテーマとした連作である。

He is also opening exhibits in Florence at places like Palazzo Strozzi, Palazzo Vecchio, Vera Vogel, and Palermo.
The site allowed to meet the person himself at the photo exhibit of the "13th NiMi Festival," a Japanese cultural festival held in Florence. Originally the exhibit was titled "Edo Games (escape from Edo), and it focused on three daughters who were sold as children to the red light district where Edo (current-day Tokyo) prostitutes live.
