長野県在住の一般消費者が、東京在住の個人で運営しているインターネットサイトで
ヴィンテージ風ポロシャツを購入した。その消費者が、商品を受け取り確認したところ偽物ではないかと思い、販売元に確認したが、「本物の商品だ」という回答。
消費者は、不安に思い、日本での代理店である山本社に商品確認の依頼をした。
山本社から、似寄りの形で色違い（ボルドー）があったため、確認したところ
何点かのポイントで違いがありました。
A general consumer who lives in Nagano prefecture purchased a vintage-look polo shirt at an internet shop which is run by an indivisual who lives in Tokyo. The consumer doubted after receiving the product that it might be a fake, and asked the shop to confirm. The reply was "it is real".
The consumer still felt concern, and asked Yamamoto company which is the agency in Japan, to confirm.
The reply from Yamamoto company was that they recognized the color difference (Bordeaux) at a glance, and have found several discrepancies by detail checking.
