We just saw a somewhat legitimate-looking spam message purporting to be from Microsoft and giving a link to “update” Microsoft Outlook. Since several people received it and have asked me about it, I just wanted to touch base and confirm that this is indeed a scam to try to get you to download a virus. As always, please avoid clicking on unsolicited links in your email, and if in doubt as to whether or not something is legitimate, just bug one of us in IT.

一見マイクロソフトから送られてきたように見え、「マイクロソフト・アウトルックをアップデートする」というリンクが入ったスパムメールが送られています。幾人かから同じメールを受け取ったという問い合わせがあったため、これがウイルスをダウンロードさせるためのものなのかどうかを確認したいと思っております。いつも通りですが、送り元が不明なメール内のリンクをクリックしないようお願いいたします。また何にせよ疑わしいものがあった場合はITのメンバーまでご報告ください。
