Energy Literacy Platformはコンセントと各家電製品の間に接続するELPモジュール、モジュールからの情報をパソコンで受信するELPレシーバ、エネルギーの使用量を確認するためのELPウェブサイトで構成されます。ELPウェブサイトでは各モジュールに上限としたい電気量（もしくは金額）を設定できます。設定したELPモジュールを電化製品に接続し使用していく中でユーザーが設定した上限に近づくたびにモジュールの色が白から黄色、そして赤へと変化していきす。モジュールから送られてくる各電気機器の消費電力量はELPウェブサイト上でわかりやすく視覚化され、今までの履歴を見ることができます。また、これらの電気量を自転車をこぐことで自家発電するとどのくらいの時間がかかるかといった、身近なものに置き換えることにより、消費電力と生活の関係を理解しやすくします。身近な電気機器の電力消費を理解することで、電力に対するリテラシーを身につけ家庭におけるエネルギーの節約に貢献します。

Energy Literacy Platform is composed of the ELP website to confirm the quantity consumed of the ELP receiver and energy to receive information from the ELP module and the module connected between the outlet and each home appliance with the personal computer. The quantity of electricity (Or, amount of money) to be assumed to be an upper bound to each module can be set in the ELP website. The color of the module changes from white to yellow and red when it approaches the upper bound that the user set while connecting the set ELP module with electrical appliances and using it. The amount of power consumption of the electric each equipment sent from the module is plainly visualized on the ELP website, and can see the current history. Moreover, these quantity of electricity is made the relation between power consumption and life easy to understand by replacing it near oneself how much time it takes when electricity is privately generated by pedaling the bicycle. Literacy to the electric power contributes in the body in understanding the power consumption of a familiar electric equipment and it contributes to the saving of energy in the applying home.
