トヨタ自動車4日、インドで生産する『エティオス』シリーズを南アフリカに向け輸出を開始した。同社は、新興国を重点分野と位置付け、今回の完成車輸出を機に、インドを完成車やトランスミッションの生産供給拠点として発展させる考え。

4日（現地時間）には、同社のインドにおける製造・販売子会社トヨタ・キルロスカ・モーター（TKM）が、インド・チェンナイ近郊のエンノール港において記念式典を実施した。

Toyota Starts Exporting India-made Cars, Aiming Annual Export of 20,000 Vehicles to South Africa

Toyota Motors started exporting its Etios series which the company produces in India, to South Africa on April 4. Toyota regards emerging countries as important markets and aims to develop its Indian quarters to a production and supply base for completed cars and transmissions with the start of export of its completed vehicles.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Ltd. (TKM), Toyota’s subsidiary for production and sales in India, on 4th (local time) held a commemorative ceremony at Ennore Port in suburban Chennai of India.
